Virtual Cooking Camps for Kids

“Voted one of the 10 Coolest Cooking Camps in the US!”

— Bon Appétit Magazine

Welcome to Virtual Cooking Camp! It’s the most fun a kid can have from home this summer, especially if they spend a lot of time thinking about food and tinkering in the kitchen. Our camps offer them a chance to cook independently, which is a big step. There are no pre-requirements for joining a virtual cooking camp; just a curiosity about all types of food + cooking.

Each session will be led by one of our beloved Chef-Instructors, who have been teaching this popular program for the last 2 summers. We have the pandemic to thank for launching this program, but despite most kids going back to in-person activities, this virtual camp is here to stay because it allows kids in NYC and beyond a chance to learn how to cook in their own kitchens. The fact that a full meal awaits the family at the end of each class is one of many perks.

AGES: Designed for kids ages 10 to 15.

DETAILS: Camps run Monday-Thursday, with daily 2-hour classes.

PRICING: Each 4-day camp is $250 and is limited to 12 households, to allow kids maximum interaction with their teacher. Additional siblings are +$50 for the week.

INGREDIENTS: Since you will be purchasing the groceries for these camps, there is a lot of flexibility if your family is vegetarian, gluten-free, nut-free, so don’t hesitate to ask about ingredient alternatives. We have purposely kept the shopping lists manageable, and they should average $75/session, with enough food for a family meal for 4 at the end of class.

CLEAN-UP!: To ensure that parents are not left with a tsunami of dishes at the end of every class, rest assured that we are devoting 15 minutes at the end of every class to kitchen organization and clean-up.
